Cuba: Human Rights Activists March in Old Havana on 15 November

Havana, 23 Nov (Ahmed Rodriguez Albacia/www.cubanet.org) - Several members of the "Miguel Valdes Tamayo" Pro-Human Rights Popular Movement staged a march through the old section of Havana on 15 November.

Vladimir Alejo Miranda, president of the above civic movement, said that as they marched through downtown Havana they were handing bracelets and t-shirts with the inscription CAMBIO [CHANGE] and booklets containing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Miranda said that the people received the bracelets and booklets with enthusiasm and encouraged the marchers to continue their struggle for CHANGE toward a new Cuba.
